JESS

For 15 years I’ve been teaching fitness, but it was when I discovered Reformer Pilates eight years ago that I really found my calling.

With extensive experience and deep knowledge across a wide range of movement styles, I’m passionate about helping clients feel empowered and strong. I truly believe Reformer can complement all forms of exercise, from strength training to running, or simply moving to feel better in your body.

In my classes, I always bring a mix of good music, good vibes, and a bit of fun, while making sure every client feels challenged, supported, and inspired. Over the years, I’ve worked with people of all ages, abilities, and goals, and I’ve seen first-hand the transformative impact Reformer can have on both body and mind.

That’s why I created this course, to share everything I’ve learned along the way and to give new teachers the confidence, knowledge, and creativity to thrive.

I wrote the course I wish I’d had when I first started out, and my hope is that it inspires and supports you on your own teaching journey.

HANNAH

With over seven years of Reformer teaching experience and a degree in Sports Studies, I’ve built my career across a range of coaching roles within the UK fitness industry. Along the way, I discovered Reformer Pilates and quickly realised it was more than just another discipline; it became my true passion.

Three years ago, I took a leap and bought over the Pilates studio I was working for. Since then, I’ve rebranded, expanded studio locations, and grown a talented team of instructors. Through this journey, I noticed a recurring challenge: many newly qualified teachers had the certifications, but not the confidence or practical skills to step straight into a studio setting.

That gap inspired me to create FOIRM, a teacher training academy designed to bridge the space between qualification and real-world teaching. My mission is to equip instructors not only with knowledge, but with the practical skill set, professionalism, and confidence to thrive in this industry.

What began as a personal love affair with Reformer Pilates quickly grew into a lifelong passion. After just one class, I was hooked, not just on the machine, but on how it made me feel: stronger, more connected, and empowered.

That transformation inspired me to train in Dublin and spend the last ten years teaching in Belfast and Edinburgh, training and teaching alongside some truly incredible instructors.

Eight years ago, I opened and managed a group studio in Edinburgh, right at the beginning of Reformer’s rise in popularity. From day one, the energy was electric, people fell in love with the practice just like I had.

Eventually, I created something more personal: a private 1:1 studio focused on tailored, bespoke classes. A space where every session is built around the individual, blending high energy with genuine connection. Clients often describe it as “therapy”, full of laughter, challenge, and real change.

This personal connection inspired me to help train future instructors and this vision became FOIRM. Above all,
